Statement: I was born in Cairns, have lived here all my life and love the city. My wife Sharon and I have four adult sons who were educated in Cairns. We own our home in Bentley Park and own and operate True Value Hardware at Edmonton. 

Experience in small business, tourism, restaurants and hardware has taught me how to listen to what customers want and had given me the management skills to produce results.

As your councillor I will:

- Work to maintain minimal rate increases and a transparent council;

- Develop programs with kids to stimulate and entertain them without drugs and alcohol;

- Attend your community meetings, listen to your needs and keep you informed about council decisions;

- Investigate how to improve peak hour traffic on the Bruce Highway and improve safety on our roads;

- Further develop our pathways, sporting and recreational facilities; and,

- Ensure the protection of our hills, waterways, natural flora and fauna.
