Cirque Du Soleil takes over TV
Acclaimed Cirque du Soleil performers Arthur Davis and Shenea Booth will perform on Channel Ten's So You Think You Can Dance on Monday, April 14 at 7.30pm.
The Cirque du Soleil artists will perform an acrobatic dance routine, set against a stirring soundtrack.
The performance will embody the elements which have become synonymous with Cirque du Soleil – immense strength, agility, flexibility and of course the spectacular displays of acrobatic creativity with seemingly impossible sky high lifts and faultless spins.
The dancers have toured the world as part of the Cirque du Soleil Special Events team.
The special events team is made up of a number of performers from various backgrounds and has performed in major events such as the Super Bowl, the Oscars and various TV programs.
From a group of 20 street performers at its beginnings in 1984, Cirque du Soleil is now a major Quebec-based organization providing high-quality artistic entertainment.
The company has close to 4,000 employees from over 40 different countries, including 1,000 artists.
Cirque du Soleil is bringing a new tour to Australia this year, Dralion. This exciting show is a fusion of ancient Chinese circus traditions and the avant-garde approach of Cirque du Soleil.
Dralion defines new heights of acrobatic creativity, culminating in unique and exciting acts of that have never been seen before on Australian shores.
Cirque du Soleil’s Dralion will open in Brisbane on November 27, for a limited season.
