Another premier art exhibition, On The Edge, kicks off this Friday at Tanks Arts Centre.

An intimate geographical connection to the lush and culturally diverse coastal edge of the Far North has inspired 12 established local artists to produce an exhibition exploring their commonality.

On The Edge defines a shared affinity for the unique tropical sea coast from Cairns to the Torres Straits and exposes a rich and definitive creative impulse within our reach.

Artists sharing their expansive vision in this exhibition include Anna Eglitis, Ian Horn, Joey Laifoo, Elaine Lampton, Arone Meeks, Rosella Namok, Dennis Nona, Brian Robinson, Alick Tipoti, Ceferino Sabatino, Zane Saunders and Sasi Victoire.

On The Edge will open at Tanks Arts Centre this Friday from 6pm. Entry is free.
