Special Mother's Day delivery
IS this bouncing blue eyed baby boy the best Mother's Day present ever?
Kuranda mum Melissa Hudson, 22, thinks so.
She delivered 3.87kg Gregory John Pivac at 8.23am yesterday in Cairns Base Hospital.

"I had the feeling I was going to have the baby on the Mother’s Day," Ms Hudson said.
"I think it’s cool having him as a Mother’s Day present."
Fittingly for a Mother’s Day arrival, Gregory’s great-grandmother Althea Hudson, 58, was on hand to welcome him into the world.
"She was beside me," Ms Hudson said, as Gregory slept.
"She got to see her fourth great-grandson. I think she was pretty surprised. She had tears in her eyes. "
Big brother Jo-se, 2, and dad Danny Pivac, 37, were the pair’s first visitors.
Jo-se was thrilled with his little brother, his mum said.
"He just keeps on loving him up. He keeps on kissing him, goes for a little walk and starts talking to him."
Gregory, 53cm, came into the world after a six-and-a-half hour labour.
"I went in at 2am this morning. And it was over by 8.30am."
"It wasn’t that long – it was pretty good."
Ms Hudson was one of seven lucky mums who gave birth on Mother’s Day.
