TV hunk in great outdoors
TELEVISION hunk Tom Williams surprised Innisfail residents yesterday when he strolled down the main street on the lookout for a lunch spot.
The Great Outdoors reporter, Gladiators co-host and Dancing with the Stars winner is in the Far North for a travel segment featuring tropical getaways.
Williams and his crew filmed in Cairns yesterday morning before lunching at Innisfail's Il Fiorentino cafe and then heading to Dunk Island, off Mission Beach.
The chippie-turned-Channel 7 stud asked two locals on Edith St where a good spot to eat was, and then headed into an arcade for pasta.
The crew has also filmed at Chillagoe and around the Tableland.
Williams said Innisfail was just a lunch stop this time around.
The Sydneysider said he was enjoying the weather.
"It's a beautiful change, I'm loving it," he said.
