The marketing and communications professional was chosen from 17 entrants from across the state to be the Queensland ambassador, after raising $81,000 for the Surfers Paradise club.
"I am looking forward to continuing to promote lifesaving and my club, build surf awareness within the community and raise more vital funds which are needed to keep our beaches open and safe," Ms Crockford said.
Ms Crockford, 26, became involved in the organisation at 17, when she qualified for her bronze medallion while studying at Trinity Bay State High School.
Judge Rebecca Gordon said this year’s entrants showed passion, commitment and dedication to the surf life saving cause.
Ms Crockford won a Suzuki Swift GLX.
