Sydney quartet Faker is currently one of Australia's hottest young rock acts

Their second album Be The Twilight has already spawned the smash hit single This Heart Attack which has spent time in the top 10 of the ARIA Singles Charts and had regularly spins on commercial radio.

The next single Are You Magnetic is tipped for the same success and is just as catchy as the first single.

Despite forming in 1996, Faker has only released the two full-length albums with their debut Addicted Romantic finding success because of the single Hurricane which finished reached #21 on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2005

But their 12 years together coupled with the phenomenal writing and singing abilities of frontman Nathan Hudson have made them a tight live rock act and definitely a band rising fast in the Australian music scene.

This is Faker’s debut performance in Cairns and they should get local punters rocking hard for their entire set.
