New Zealand rapper Scribe (real name Malo Luafutu) has become hip-hop royalty in Australia thanks to some amazing and much talked about live performances
Scribe has fired up crowds at some big festivals over the past couple of years but most notably the last lot of Big Day Out events in January.
His second and most recent album is titled Rhyme Book (2007) and features the hits F.R.E.S.H, My Shit and Say It Again (featuring Tyra Hammond).
His first solo album Crusader (2003) also proved a massive hit with hip-hop fans producing three high selling and high charting singles – Stand Up, Not Many and Dreaming.
He also recorded the massive hit Stop The Music with another New Zealand hip-hopper star P-Money in 2005 which reached as high as number 7 on the ARIA Singles Charts.
The timeOUT concert will be Scribe’s debut performance in Cairns and lovers of top-notch hip-hop won’t be disappointed with this larger-than-life New Zealand rapper.
