A million dollars worth of luxury Audis roll into Cairns today for the annual 10-day Audi Roadshow.

The latest and some of the most exclusive models from the German manufacturer will make their mark at Honeycombes Prestige in Mulgrave Rd until July 1.

The Audi brand will present its range-topping S models to prospective customers in the Cairns region, including the new S5 Coupe, the rare S6 and the luxurious S8.

Dealer-principal Scott Carse said the Audi Roadshow would build on brand awareness and focus on communicating Audi's core brand values of sportiness, sophistication and progressiveness.

Audi Australia managing director Joerg Hofmann said Audi Australia had set a benchmark across the business by making a long-term commitment to investment and the development of the national dealer network.

"Audi aims to support new dealerships around the country and with the roadshow in place it will continue current sales growth in these markets,'' he said. "Following on from an all-time sales record of 7225 units in 2007, the brand has now achieved historic results in the first half of the year.

"Audi Australia is now the fastest growing brand in the Audi world and we are definitely a brand on the move here.
"We are well on track to achieve double digit' growth in 2008."

Mr Carse said local and potential Audi customers would appreciate the extraordinary new products.
