The Cairns Photographic Society is displaying their latest exhibit Garden D Light at Tanks Arts Centre.

These stunning photographs have been taken by both professional and amateur photographers with the intention of promoting the Cairns Botanic Gardens and the wonderful social lifestyle that the Gardens bring to the city of Cairns.

In this year of road works and construction, Garden D Light is a much welcome reminder of the vision this city has for the site. The exhibition features many aspects of the Gardens.

From tiny detailed macro photography to wide angled landscapes, as well as wildlife, flora, fauna and even the gardeners themselves portrayed in an unusual display that encourages visitors to look at and explores the Cairns Botanic Gardens precinct in a totally different light.
