The Australian Girls Choir will perform a free concert in Cairns this Sunday.
The choir has delighted audiences across Australia and around the world with their singing, choreography and stage presentation.
Established in 1984 by Judith Curphey, the Australian Girls Choir began with 150 girls rehearsing in Melbourne. Today, the choir boasts an enrolment of more than 3500 choristers training in singing, dance and drama.
The Australian Girls Choir is proud to have been chosen to represent the Spirit of Australia in the Qantas Airlines I Still Call Australia Home television advertising campaigns.
The choir sings a diverse mix of music including well-known Australiana and Aboriginal songs, Broadway show tunes, international music and upbeat gospel numbers.
The choir performs at Cairns Civic Theatre on Sunday, July 13 from 3pm. Free seats must be booked on 4031 9555.
