Hedley moves to new premises

THE Hedley Group has moved its property sales office from Lake Street into swanky new premises at the base of Centrepoint Tower in Abbott St.

Features of the new premises are a front display room, eight offices, a boardroom and several smaller pods.

Plasma screen televisions installed on the walls will be used to advertise new Hedley projects.

Hedley Group sales manager Tony Williamson said the new location was ideal.

"It's more in the action, it's more central," he said.

"It's state-of-the-art and is also underneath a major Hedley project.

"We want it to be colourful and inviting."

Hedley Group officially started trading in Abbott St last Monday and hopes to use the site as a base to sell residential land and homes.

"We want this office to appeal to all demographics, whether they are mums and dads wanting homes at Redlynch or investors keen to buy on the Esplanade," Mr Williamson said.

"I believe this will set a new benchmark for property offices in Cairns."

The Hedley Group is close to selling all of its residential units in Cairns Centrepoint.

About 90 per cent of 35 apartments have been sold before the building is even finished.
