Family atmosphere: Mitch, Toby & Remy love Cairns as much as their parents do!

Cary Coolican loves Cairns because it's a great place to raise a family...

As a local born and bred, I have returned to Cairns to raise my young family.

Both my husband and I have travelled overseas & worked in many areas around the state.

We both believe Cairns is the best place to raise a young family.

Fantastic weather all year round – yes even the rain!

We are close to everything from the reef, beaches, rainforests & the outback.

We have wonderful freshwater swimming holes & other day trip or camping destinations at our doorstep.

The kids love playing in the rain, fishing, camping, playing sport, riding bikes & playing with friends.

My all time favourite thing about Cairns is the cane fires.

We don’t get them too often any more, but you definitely don’t get them at the Gold Coast.
