Drum up big for Peace

Local drumming organization Drum Up Big will hold a special drum circle to celebrate Peace Week 2008

Drum Up Big will take place at Yorkeys Knob Community Centre, Wattle St. Yorkeys Knob on Wednesday, July 23 from 7pm-8pm. 

Cost of participation is $20 and includes a ticket in the Drum Up Big Peace Week Raffle, a fund raising raffle for Amnesty International, with the winning ticket drawn that at 8pm that night. 

The lucky winner will walk away with a Drummer’s Dream Package which includes a beautiful African djembe drum, drum bag, strap and 2 free classes, all donated by Drum Up Big. 

All money raised will go to the Cairns branch of Amnesty, to help their actions in support of human rights.
