Who needs to be living in a Big City just to be able to attend high profile events when we have the best of the best right here on our doorstep.

Getting all dressed up to go to Cairns Jockey Club's annual events like the forthcoming Cairns Cup and Amateurs Race Days is penned into our diaries every year for our little girlie group to dress to impress.

We love everything from seeing the horse-racing and having the odd bet, to people watching as we bask in the wonderful tropical Cairns sun.

This is in loving memory of Megan Walter (far right) who passed away in June this year from Breast Cancer - Meg you will be there with us in spirit for 2008 ... Love the girls.

Catie, Lauran, Lisa and Megan, a much missed friend, all love getting dressed-up for the Cairns Amateurs.
