Rydges Sabaya Resort in Port Douglas offers a multitude of activities aimed at the youngsters, ensuring your holiday in the Cairns region will be stress free.
Kids are so welcome at Rydges Sabaya Resort in Port Douglas – they can now stay and eat breakfast for free and be entertained to their hearts content with a range of family-friendly facilities, including the resort’s very own, Kanga Crew Kids Club.
Rydges Sabaya Resort Port Douglas recently unveiled a series of new offers encouraging families to holiday in tropical paradise.
Families are rewarded with all children 12 years and under staying and eating breakfast for free when utilizing existing bedding (some conditions apply so check with the staff at Rydges Sabaya for more details).
When Rydges Sabaya Resort opened in July 2007 after a major re-design and development program, it positioned itself as one of the few resorts in Port Douglas to truly cater for families.
According to general manager Kellie Eustace, Rydges Sabaya Resort is the only four-star property in Port Douglas to offer the guest-winning formula of a kids club.
"We are committed to providing great family holidays which simultaneously give kids the right-royal-treatment while parents receive the rest and relaxation they deserve. Kids love spending time in the kid’s club and enjoy making new friends while creating souvenirs of their holiday," she said.
While parents enjoy their break, the Kanga Crew Kid’s Club caters for children aged between 5-12 year olds and offers a range of activities including face painting, scavenger hunts, snorkelling, jewellery making and much, much more.
Everyone knows kids can be the fussiest of eaters so the resort’s executive chef, Lance Seeto has created speciality children’s menus for lunch and dinner that are guaranteed to delight the small and large appetites.
And while the kids are at play, parents can enjoy guilt-free time – imagine relaxing by the lagoon-style swimming pool, playing a game of golf or indulgent pampering with a treatment in the resort's luxury day spa.
Beyond the resort, families have plenty to see and do in Port Douglas.
With great weather and a long list of attractions right on the door step, including the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, Mossman Gorge, a fun-filled, action-packed holiday is ensured.
A range of family packages are now available that include a special deal to mark the opening of the kid's club.
Starting from just $160 per adult, per night, twin share, stay in a two bedroom apartment and receive the special bonus of a free breakfast for two adults and two children.
As an alternative bonus, families who pay for six nights accommodation will receive the seventh night free.
