The Medics to rock timeOUT concert
Cairns band The Medics will perform at the timeOUT concert on Saturday, August 30 at Cairns Showgrounds.
Cairns band The Medics are "stoked" to be sharing the stage with international music acts at the upcoming TimeOUT concert.
Just a few points in the lead, the band of five 17 and 18-year-olds won the Battle of the Bands title to perform in front of thousands at the biggest concert to hit Cairns this year.

The "indie/alternative/rock" band was chosen ahead of five other local groups in the final to perform ahead of headline acts Scribe, Kisschasy, Blue King Brown and Faker on August 30.
"This is a huge opportunity with great exposure," lead guitarist Andrew Thomson said after the battle last night.
"This is a step up to the next level."
The Cairns Post marketing co-ordinator Maria Recker said it was standing room only when the winner of the Battle of the Bands competition was announced at Gilligan's.
The timeOUT concert will be held at Cairns Showgrounds on Saturday, August 30. Tickets are available for $50 from The Cairns Post office on Abbott Street or at the gate on the night for $60.
