RURAL Queensland has been identified as an untapped market for innovative builder, Rivergum Homes and their new range of affordable, smart built relocatable homes.
Rivergum Homes are answering the Australian affordability crisis with their new range of relocatable home packages that will meet the demand from rural Queensland for affordable, quality homes delivered complete to site within ten weeks.
Rivergum Homes has branched into Queensland’s growing property market for the first time and are supplying quality relocatable homes to a raft of buyers across the state, shipped from a state-of-the-art pre-build home hub in Caboolture in South-East Queensland.
Rivergum Homes general manager Louis Donald, said there is strong demand from the rural and pastoral Queensland market for relocatable homes due to quick build time, minimal fuss and affordability.
"We have established a range of high quality, relocatable homes which are answering the demand for affordable housing for buyers who live in rural and remote areas throughout Queensland," said Mr Donald.
"Our newly established pre-build home hub in Caboolture allows us to provide quality homes that are ready to be transported straight away to most areas throughout Queensland, a much more affordable option when compared to building on-site.
"We have already experienced a strong response from first home buyers, farmers, miners and investors who are taking advantage of quick build times resulting in an immediate return on their purchase."
Mr Donald said buyers can visit the Caboolture home-hub, choose the home they desire, and the complete home will be delivered 10 to 12 weeks later. All homes are constructed to the highest quality standards with only the best products and construction methods utilised.
Established in 1994, Rivergum Homes is a division of Said Housing Group based in Adelaide. The leading South Australian Builder has contributed more than $250 million into the Adelaide building industry, completing 3000 dwellings since conception.
Said Housing Group managing director Victor Said, who founded the company 15 years ago, created the relocatable home product range to meet the growing demand from the marketplace.
"Our unique range of relocatable homes will suit Queensland’s natural rural settings. It was my objective to create sustainable housing concepts which are extremely affordable and unique in design while maintaining high quality," he said.
"The reason we are able to provide such quality housing at such an affordable price is through our streamlined and cost effective building solutions, using innovative building materials and our excellent buying power allowing us to provide our homes at highly competitive prices.
"We are experiencing a national affordable housing crisis caused by increased population growth, demand for housing and limited land supply. Buyers can avoid becoming another alarming statistic and look to relocatable homes as the complete sustainable housing solution."
Rivergum Homes relocatable home range has a range of different designs and facades from one-bedroom to five-bedroom homes, ranging in size from 40 to 189 square metres, priced from only $75,000.
Each home uses innovative materials and methods creating a solid, low maintenance, well insulated, economical and advanced lightweight prefabricated home. Designs are the result of extensive planning between leading architects, colour and interior stylists ensuring each home is spacious, stylish and functional.
Rivergum Homes also build project homes on-site and are currently building five display homes in Queensland near Brisbane, Hervey Bay and the Gold Coast.
