A new level of relaxation
New level of luxury relaxation: The Hilton Cairns' Aiga Day Spa is the first of its type opened in Australia.
Experience the art of Japanese relaxation and its many life giving benefits at the newest addition in the Hilton Cairns, the Aiga day spa.
In Japan, Aiga is a name synonymous with an award-winning spa group offering specialised techniques that include ‘keiraku’ massage and ‘shimpi’ facials.
In opening its first Australian salon, Aiga at Hilton Cairns provides the perfect solution to stress filled lives.
Guests are invited to experience a new level of serenity in zen-like surroundings complete with state-of-the-art spa technology.
Keiraku is a Japanese massage technique that focuses on a person’s energy meridians which is thought to be the place on a body where stress is accumulated.
The massage works to unblock these meridian points and re-balance the patient’s energy or ‘ki’.
The Aiga ‘keiraku’ massage technique relies on the transfer of energy through the masseuse’s hand.
The ‘shimpi’ facial is another specialised serviced offered at Aiga and not available elsewhere in Australia.
In this technique, the therapist’s hand is connected to an electric galvanising machine and through light, tangential and circular strokes, massages the face and delivers a very subtle electric current that is relaxing and safe.
To celebrate the opening of Australia’s first Aiga day spa at Hilton Cairns, the hotel has created the ultimate indulgence combining activity and relaxation in one, value-packed package called Play and Pamper.
Hilton Cairns’ Play and Pamper package includes:
· 18 holes of golf on one of Australia's premier golf courses, Paradise Palms
