Wicked gets rude in Japanese
THIS time Wicked campervans in Cairns has gone way too far.
The budget rental company is under fresh attack over an offensive slogan written in Japanese and plastered over a van parked in suburban Cairns.

The slogan reads: "Lick my ...." and was interpreted for The Cairns Post by several Japanese people who now live here.
Outraged cairns.com.au reader Mark sent a photograph of the van to us after his Japanese wife spotted it parked in their Bayview Heights street while driving their eight-year-old daughter to school.
"It's terrible. If you walked around in a T-shirt with that written on it in English, you would be arrested," he said.
His said he and his wife had tried to stop their daughter, who can read Japanese, from seeing the van, which was parked in the street for several days before leaving overnight.
"My wife was quite upset and wanted to do something about it. What if our daughter read it," Mark said.
"It just shows how unprofessional Wicked are. Who writes this stuff on a van?"
"They should be fined and get the van off the road.
"It doesn't do much for Cairns as a tourism destination to have vans driving around with something vulgar like that on it."
Wicked last month was condemned by Premier Anna Bligh and other authories after The Cairns Post revealed a van had been spotted carrying the slogan "Save a whale - harpoon a Jap".
The Cairns Post is attempting to contact Wicked, Premier Bligh and other authorities about the latest controversy.
