Extreme air in Edmonton
Air time: Aaron Harman competing in the Open Championship race at the seventh round of the Tropical North Queensland motocross series at Edmonton.
Cairns has some of the best extreme sports action in the country, like riders at last weekend's Tropical North Queensland Motocross series at Edmonton showed in style.
The Tropical North Queensland Motorcross Series provides events from everyone from juniors right through to senior professional riders and is the governing body for Motorcross in Cairns and surrounding areas.
Young guns like Harley Pezzutti and Josh Santarossa recently both went to compete in the Australian titles and are regular features of the TNQ Motorcross Series, with many other nationally recognised riders using Cairns as a base.

The Cairns region is fast becoming the adventure tourism capitals of Australia, with a number of other adrenaline pumping activities “extremely” popular including skydiving, mountain biking, wakeboarding, white water rafting, skating, BMX, bungy jumping and many more.
