Important timeOUT Concert Info
The timeOUT concert is finally here this Saturday at Cairns Showground.
There is some important information all punters must take note of before heading to one of the biggest music events in Cairns this year.
Gates open at 3pm with a local DJ kicking things off until the first act, The Medics hit the stage at 4.15pm. The Medics are followed by Faker at 5.10pm, then Blue King Brown, Kisschasy (pictured) and Scribe is on last.
It is important all attendees bring ID because this is a licensed event and only those with a proof-of-age wristband will be served on the day.
Everyone must bring enough cash for the day because there are no ATMs within the Cairns Showground. Also there will be free water available and Sunbus will supply a bus service from Cairns Showground to the main bus terminal on Lake St.
No alcohol, illicit substances, eskys, opened drinks, food and recording devices are permitted into the concert.
Don’t forget you can trade your 12 tokens in for your free ticket to the event until 5.30pm Friday, August 29 at The Cairns Post building in Abbott St. Otherwise, you can buy a ticket for $50 at The Cairns Post until 5.30pm Friday, August 29 or pay $60 at the gate on the day.
The 2008 timeOUT concert will be held this Saturday at Cairns Showground from 3pm. For more information, go to cairns.com.au/timeout
