FISHERMEN dumping scraps have been blamed for attracting a 3.5m crocodile to Edmonton boat ramp.
Paul O’Callaghan from the Environmental Protection Agency said fish frames were dumped at the boat ramp two weeks before recent reports of the croc sighting.

He said he was not surprised about the possibility of a crocodile frequenting the area and said they were "opportunists".
A warning sign saying "recent crocodile sighting" was placed at the Edmonton ramp this week.
Mr O’Callaghan yesterday urged people not to swim in water where crocodiles may live, even if warning signs were not present.
A dog at Clifton Beach narrowly escaped the jaws of a crocodile in April after it was grabbed by a crocodile on the edge of a freshwater pool.
In November last year a croc was sighted just 2m from a woman as she swam near Trinity Beach.
