SPIRIT OF FREEDOM is a first class live-aboard dive vessel providing 3, 4, and 7 day dive tours to the far northern Great Barrier Reef and Australia's remote Coral Sea reefs.

At a comfortable 120 feet in length, this dive cruiser features electronic stabilisers, two lounge areas, sun deck, and spacious cabins with en-suite bathrooms for up to 26 passengers, making every trip on the vessel as comfortable as it is memorable.

On board guests enjoy gourmet chef prepared meals and the highest levels of service provided by 10 professional crew and dive staff, all of which who will go out of their way to make you feel at home while cruising the magnificent Coral Sea.

There are three options to choose from on the Spirit of Freedom:

3 Day / 3 Night Cod Hold & Ribbon Reefs

Dive the world famous Cod Hole and Ribbon Reefs where you will encounter a family of giant potato cod, clouds of tropical fish, anenmones, moray eels, giant Napoleon Wrasse and pristine coral gardens. Return to Cairns from Lizard Island via a 130 mile low level scenic reef flight.

4 Day / 4 Night Coral Sea

Begin this tour with a one hour reef flight to Lizard Island before travelling out to the remote Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea. Here you will dive with sharks, mantas and schools of pelagics against sheer walls laced with gorgonian fans and visibility beginning at a massive 100 feet.  

7 Day / 7 Night Cod Hole and Coral Sea

Join Spirit of Freedom for 7 days and nights diving the two diverse eco systems of the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea. Your cruise will include the Ribbon Reefs, the Cod Hole, a chance to explore the magical Lizard Island, Osprey and possibly Bougainville Reef.
