I'm a country girl at heart and while I love the fact Cairns has many "city" luxuries (shopping, restaurants, theatres, live entertainment, night clubs and much more), it also has a laid back and relaxed feeling.
You can find many places in Cairns and surrounding suburbs (such as the Northern Beaches) that are peaceful and let you enjoy our natural surrounds, and there are plenty of parks and playgrounds for children.
It's a great place to live - it's safe, the weather is fantastic and there's lots of great people!
