Have a fantastic time with a bunch of your favourite people when you splash out on a private villa at Sea Temple Resort in Port Douglas, north of Cairns.

Going away for holidays can be kind of boring when you’re by yourself. But the recent surge in ‘share holidays’ shows the people are taking their fun with them.

Grabbing a group of your nearest and dearest, family or friends, and hiring out a larger apartment or villa is a great way to save costs and enjoy some luxury on your next getaway.

Sea Temple Resort in Port Douglas has a bunch of options to choose from including 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, spa studio rooms and their fantastic 3 bedroom private villas.

This is a complete holiday home with a gourmet kitchen, laundry facilities, 3 very spacious rooms – including a master bedroom with an in-built spa – and its very own lap pool and outdoor BBQ area.

You can opt for king size beds in the other rooms if you’re a group of couples or get two singles on request. The villas even have private carports and garages and are serviced daily.

The bathrooms come provided with all the necessaries you’d get in a hotel room – bathrobes, slippers and hairdryers – and the rest of the facilities include cable TV and pay for view movies, CD and DVD player, broadband internet connection, tea & coffee facilities, iron & ironing board, alarm clock & radio and an in-room safe.

If you want to be totally indulgent you can even organise a private in-house personal chef from Platinum Cuisine.

Dave Parry has years of experience having worked as a private chef for Pamela Anderson, run Michelin Star restaurants in the UK, been a personal chef for royalty and worked at the very famous Rive Cafe in London.

Platinum Cuisine focuses on fresh-caught seafood and locally-grown ingredients and Dave can create whatever flavours you desire.

The Sea Temple Private Villas range from $800 per night for a minimum of 5 nights to $950 per night for a minimum of 3 nights.

Prices for Platinum Cuisine private meals are based on a minimum of two people and have a maximum of 10 people and start at $120 per person but comes with complimentary canapés. This includes all the equipment for cooking and storage but doesn't include wait staff nor the chef – that’s an extra $350 per night. Matching wines can be arranged for every course on request.
