REMEMBER these names and faces - one of them could be Australia's next supermodel.

There's Kendal Schuler, who at just 16 is being dubbed the next big thing in Sydney modelling circles.

At 19, Kelicia O'Brien is modelling for Christian Dior and Gucci in France.

And Kassy Zandt, 18, is in Sydney capitalising on her profile from the TV show Make Me a Supermodel.

"It's only a matter of time before one of them makes it big time," model mentor and creator of Townsville's annual Fashion Bash Henry Petersen said.

"Cairns has proved to be our most successful model scouting region for the Bash, which has now discovered 12 international models and dancers."

Mr Petersen said Kendal' "Grace Kelly look" won her rave reviews at last month' Dubai International Colour Gem Show where she modelled Australian opal jewellery and appeared on TV show Good Morning Dubai.

She has appeared in magazines USA Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Shop Til You Drop and Cosmopolitan.

Kelicia, who left Cairns in August to dance in a Moulin Rouge-style show in the French city of Soultzmatt, recently modelled in 12 fashion parades at a Christian Dior bridal show south of Paris.
