Spider lost in space

A SPIDER on the space shuttle Endeavour is really "lost in space" after escaping from its sealed tank.

Scientists believe it went looking for a mate.

As part of the mission to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the International Space Station, NASA managers insisted that the second orb-weaver - a close relative of the golden orb which was last month pictured eating a bird in an Atherton backyard - was not lost, it just couldn’t be found, TimesOnline reported.
