LOCAL studio Dance Junction present its annual production Dance Warp this Sunday at the Cairns Civic Theatre.

The showcase involves 250 students, aged from three to adult, and incorporates jazz, tap, ballet and hip-hop.

The show begins with a slumber party that twists and turns into a disaster when an unexpected guest shows up, taking the characters into another dimension.

Audiences will share the adventure of five girls’ journey to save their friend from being eaten by the cheeky, sneaky Purple People Eater.

Come along for the ride through a time warp where the characters, music and dance whisk you off to exciting times and places.

Where will they go? What will they see? And will the girls find their way back home?

Head along to watch the show and find out!

>> Dance Junction’s production of Dance Warp has two shows at the Cairns Civic Theatre at 11am and 6pm on Sunday. Adults are $25 and children/ school students are $15. Tickets are available from www.ticketlink.com.au
