Model sues over raunchy pics
RACY photos of teenage Cairns model Kassandra Zandt doing a fake strip tease could land a men's magazine in court after she claimed they were published without her consent.
Kassandra’s mother Nikki Zandt yesterday said the 18-year-old was told the photos would never be published but three pictures of her taking her clothes off to reveal black underwear have appeared in this month’s edition of Zoo magazine.
Mrs Zandt said Kassandra was consulting a lawyer because she believed the photos would never be published.

"I am not too happy that they ran the photos," Mrs Zandt said. "I’m not impressed."
Mrs Zandt gave The Cairns Post permission to run the least revealing of the photos.
Kassandra rose to national prominence earlier this year when she was a finalist on reality TV show Make Me A
Supermodel.
She has previously been a regular in swimsuit competitions and hopes to become a Victoria’s Secret model.
Mrs Zandt claimed the Zoo photographer had pursued Kassandra when she was with friends and vulnerable.
She said Kassandra was told the photos were "just a bit of fun" and would not be published.
But the magazine’s editor Paul Merrill said Kassandra had signed a consent form for the photo shoot in Sydney.
"We’re surprised to hear that Kassandra is upset with the shoot," Mr Merrill said.
"She approached us and asked to be shot by our photographer and we were pleased to oblige.
"She signed a model release form and told us repeatedly she wanted to appear in Zoo."
Mr Merrill said Kassandra’s brother was at the shoot and it was no secret what the photos were for.
"I’m sure it can only help her modelling career," he said.
Mrs Zandt said the photos were not how Kassandra wanted to be portrayed.
In a double-page spread, the magazine said: "They don’t come much hotter than Make Me A Supermodel contestant Kassandra Zandt whose antics made the catty Channel 7 series worth watching."
