IT took just a split second to snatch away Tasmanian Michael Karagiannis' business ambitions and family plans.
The 27-year-old and his wife Erenie were expanding their business and in the middle of extending their home in New Town, Tasmania, in order to set up their lives, ready to start a family.
The self-employed painter and decorator's business was booming, and Michael was pleased he had made the decision, four years earlier, to move from Sydney to Tasmania.
