Cyclist killed near Mareeba

A CYCLIST has been killed in a collision with a vehicle on the Kennedy Highway, 4km south of Mareeba.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal traffic incident, which happened at about 6am today.  

The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.  

There is no further information available at this stage.
