Move over Facebook
COULD this be the face of the new Facebook?
An Innisfail man wants to dethrone Facebook as the globe's favourite social networking site after launching his own web-based people page
Frank Guerra recently launched exploroo.com, a social networking site for travellers. He is the CEO.
Mr Guerra, who grew up at Innisfail and Cairns and now spends most of his time overseas working on his juice company, partnered three Aussies to unveil the project about a month ago.
Exploroo offers travel enthusiasts a place to join together, share previous travel experiences, decide on new places to visit and book future vacations.

Like Facebook, travellers can accept and deny friends, post photos and ask other members where to go in certain countries.
Mr Guerra said the website received around 100,000 hits a month and warned Facebook creators his "baby business" was gunning for social networking top-dog status.
"Yes, we believe we can be as big as Facebook one day, for sure," he said.
"I believe we have a big chance to eat into the social networking market.
"Yesterday, we secured a deal to be our own on-line travel agent, we are in the process of setting up that.
"And members can interact with other travel agents as well."
The internet entrepreneur also took a swipe at his competition, claiming Facebook sites had become "frustrating" and confusing for its members.
"If you go into Facebook, there seems to be a lot of frustration at the moment as they are deleting members that are not active," he said.
"And a message is floating around now on Facebook showing members’ frustration at losing their freedom."
Mr Guerra used to work at a resort at Woree in 2006 and owned a stall at Rusty’s Markets before heading to Thailand to start up a juice business.
