Jump to it: Cairns tourism operators are offering a 10-day adventure holiday prize valued at $12,000.
CAIRNS tourism operators have launched a winning way to enjoy the best of the region's adventure attractions.
The Great Up Top, Fun Down Under competition offers entrants a chance to win a 10-night holiday in Cairns, exploring some of the region's amazing attractions.
Skydiving, scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, whitewater rafting on the Tully River, bungy jumping, an island cruise, and a four-wheel-drive tour to Cape Tribulation are among the activities included in the prize.
The holiday package is valued at $12,000.
Launching the competition last week, Tourism Tropical North Queensland chief executive officer Rob Giason said Cairns' youth adventure tourists kept the city vibrant.
"One of the beauties of Cairns is you walk around at night and see a lot of happy, engaging, colourful and exciting people and there's life," he said.
