The guest-designed revamp of Rendezvous Reef Resort in Port Douglas is now complete.
Its 128 villas and facilities have been completely refurbished, making it the newest resort in beautiful Port Douglas.The Rendezvous Reef Resort's unique feature is that it offers only villa accommodation to guests, making it a "village of villas" rather than a traditional hotel.
Although the resort is operated by Rendezvous Hotels and Resorts International, all villas are individually owned, having mostly been purchased by previous guests.
The one, two, and three bedroom self-contained villa accommodation has undergone a complete refurbishment inside and out.
The new Swish Restaurant and Bar is a mix of urban and tropical and offers poolside alfresco dining, with a menu blending traditional and tropical flavours.The resort is set on 15 acres of lush tropical gardens and offers facilities including a three "lagoon style" outdoor swimming pools with a shaded children's area, a 25m lap pool, poolside sundeck, tennis courts, gym, and pitch 'n' putt golf.
Port Douglas is the ideal family destination with fun, affordable activities for everyone.
The Four Mile Beach, Sunday Markets, cafes and bars on cosmopolitan Macrossan St are nearby.
The Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest are just a short trip away.
