Kiddie gang attacks tourists

BREAKING NEWS: A gang of a dozen children, some as young as 12, allegedly kicked and punched a pair of tourists to the ground in Cairns last night.

An 18-year-old man was walking with his mate, 17, when they were set upon by the gang on the corner of Thomas and Sheridan streets just before midnight.

The victims were left with cuts, scrapes and bruises.

Investigations into the alleged bashing is continuing.
