Manunda murder accused in court

A MAN accused of the stabbing murder of his 17-year-old daughter in Manunda last year is to face court in Cairns today.

Djarragun College Year 12 student Mariza David died from multiple stab wounds at the family’s unit in David St, Manunda, on September 18, 2008.

Her father, Aaron Pablo, 36, faces one charge of murder and one of attempted arson.

His committal hearing begins today in Cairns Magistrates' Court.
