2010 AD is coming...
THE past, present and future will collide on December 31, as Gilligan's and timeOUT presents the 2010 AD New Year's Party.
2010 AD is the Eve-Volution party of the century, a celebration of life and the way animal and mankind have evolved over time.
It has been said the world is soon to end, so what better time is there to evolve again?
The real question is, where to next?
You will enter the ice age ... a winter wonderland of snow, ice sculptures, and the creatures within.
Meet the Ice Maiden Door Hostess or spend some time in an igloo with the naughty little eskimos.
As you walk through the time and watch it melt away as the night goes on you will see the back deck transform into Prehistoric times.
Beware of the wild animals and dinosaurs – no corner of the decks is safe!
The Cavemen will be performing live on stage with all your favourite cave beats, fire shows and much more on the way.
Then, finally, enter the arena inside for the main event and witness a full-scale alien invasion, complete with DJ Fifth Element on the decks from 9pm, laser light Martian show, prizes for the best costumes no matter what era you got stuck in.
Space ships, broken cities and a real blast at midnight will usher in the new year and you never know who might drop into the future!
GRAB YOUR TOKENS!!!
Collect the four man-evolution tokens over the next four weeks leading up to New Year’s.
The first 100 people to present all four tokens in full costume will receive free entry.
Be creative: come as Ice queens, Eskimos, cavemen, Tarzan and Jane, future femmes, alien life... let your imagination run wild!
Tokens do not reserve a place in the venue, once Gilligan’s reaches capacity punters must wait in line until there is space.
These tokens cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and are not redeemable for cash.
Tokens are only valid at the Gilligan’s Door on New Year’s Eve and are not valid for use at The Attic.
Gilligan’s reserve the right to refuse entry.
