Ronan Keating bound for Cairns
IN A coup for Cairns music fans, Irish pop star Ronan Keating will make his way to the Far North on January 28.
Supported by Australia's own Tina Arena, the one-off show at the Cairns Convention Centre forms part of his first national tour in eight years.
Formerly a member of Boyzone, Keating is expected to perform tracks from his new solo album Stay as well as hits like Life Is A Rollercoaster, Lovin Each Day, When You Say Nothing At All, If Tomorrow Never Comes, The Long Goodbye and I Love It When We Do.
He has a big fan base in Australia with 1.2 million of his 22 million records sold worldwide coming from local audiences.
He also holds a Guinness World Records listing for being the only artist ever to have 30 consecutive top 10 singles in the UK charts, beating the likes of Elvis and The Beatles.
Ronan Keating will perform on January 28, at the Cairns Convention Centre.
