Cairns Taipans beat Townsville Crocs

THE Cairns Taipans have beaten the Townsville Crocs in extra time.

Dusty Rychart (21), Skip Mills, (16), and Rich Melzer (14) were the top scorers for the Taipans, leading them to the 87-81 victory over their North Queensland arch-rivals.

The win came in front of a 4000-strong crowd at the Cairns Convention Centre.
