THOUSANDS of screaming fans turned out at the Cairns Convention Centre last night to welcome Irish singing superstar Ronan Keating to the Far North.
It was the 33-year-old, former Boyzone singer’s first visit to Cairns, with Keating hitting the stage just after 9pm following a performance by Australian singer Tina Arena.

The one-off show in Cairns makes up part of Keating’s first Australian tour in eight years.
He performed songs from his past albums as well as tracks from his new album Stay.
Last night’s crowd proved Keating’s ongoing popularity in Australia, with the Irishman having already sold 1.2 million albums here.
