Suddenly seeking attention

LITTLE BLACK DRESS: I first wore these trousers to the Homebake music festival in Sydney a few years back, paired with an equally bright retro patterned waistcoat.

I thought Sydney-siders prided themselves on being brighter and more colourful then their black'n grey "I wish I was in Europe" Melbournian rivals, however I soon discovered that Sydney's idea of colourful is not really the same as the tropical north.

This realisation came to me within five minutes of shuffling through the crowded gates. I spent the whole day waiting for some munted teenager to ask me if I thought I was at a bush doof.

Jokes about glow-sticks aside, I still love my electric coral trousers.

Now I just wear them a little more demurely, to the office no less.  I think I have even worn them when interviewing prospective job candidates. I wonder what they thought?

And here is another use for lycra bandeau/boob tubes.  Have some fun making it into a neck piece by twisting through a scarf or a long necklace or chain.
