WIN TV reception fails Top Gear fans
FAR Northern Top Gear fans have been left seething after many were unable to watch the show's debut on WIN TV because of reception problems.
The problem stemmed from WIN’s distribution system in Wollongong and affected viewers across the state.
More than 40 complaints were registered with the station.

In an embarrassing situation for WIN, it was the first time the motoring show had appeared on the network after Channel 9 secured the rights late last year, outbidding former broadcaster SBS in a $19-million, two-year deal.
Residents yesterday vented their anger through text messages to The Cairns Post.
"Way 2 go WIN. U manage 2 screw up the 1st Top Gear show with all yr stop and starting, get yr act 2gether," one viewer at Edmonton wrote.
Jules from Trinity Park wrote: "Top Gear fans. WIN's coverage - opinion? Bring back SBS!"
WIN Queensland and New South Wales general manager Rod Hockey said the problem had been fixed.
The two-hour special will be replayed at 10.30pm on Saturday.
