LITTLE BLACK DRESS: My aim today was to try and create an LBD version of the tuxedo - a white button-up shirt and some creative tucks in the fabric to simulate coat tails.

It took a fair bit of experimenting with different ways and folds of tucking in the bottom of the shirt before I came up with the final result. Experimentation has been a common trait of most LBDs during the past three weeks. Sometimes it is fun. Other times, well, it's a nightmare that lasts well into the night.

I should point out the white Country Road shirt is from my husband's wardrobe. And I didn't even have to attack this one with a pair of scissors, unlike an earlier creation.

I’d be interested to hear what you think, because I think I have in actual fact achieved something closer to the uniform of an a-la-carte waitress.  Asparagus anyone?
