LITTLE BLACK DRESS: As the end of the 30-day challenge grows nigh, I am still determined to keep looking for new ways to wear the LBD, despite the dwindling pile of workable material.

This is a pretty standard wrap top … the type with the slit in the side seam you thread the ties through.  Which made me wonder what else I could thread the ties through?  Buttonholes of course!  So today is a trial of a new wraparound technique that provides a looser more comfortable fit.

Then came the next challenge – a necklace.  I am sure that there is the perfect something out there, however it just doesn’t exist in my jewellery box.  And I tried everything, long, short, fat and thin.  So I did the next most obvious thing, I grabbed a pair of clip on earrings from the 80s to break up the expanse of black fabric across my chest.  It still may be touch and go but I’m going to rely on points for creativity.
