A DRUNK man stormed into a Cairns restaurant ranting and raving while wearing only boxer shorts.

Staff at the restaurant on Marlin Parade, Harbour Lights called police about 9pm yesterday.

The man, aged in his 50s, was wearing light blue boxer shorts at the time.
