Teen bashed at Mareeba

A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been flown to Townsville Hospital with head injuries after he was allegedly assaulted at Mareeba.

The man was allegedly bashed at a Ward St home and was taken to Cairns Base Hospital before being flown to Townsville yesterday morning.

An 18-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
