Cyclone expected to form tomorrow

UPDATE, 1:33pm, January 12, 2011: This article refers to a forecast tropical cyclone in March 2010. A weather system also named "Tropical Cyclone Vania" has developed east of New Caledonia.

The low is tipped to form a cyclone with 100km/h winds at its centre by 10am tomorrow while lurking 15km/h west-northwest.

The low was 2000km east of Cairns.

The low is being dealt with by Fiji authorities and will be named Cyclone Vania if it develops.
