Man admits getting frisky with Great Dane
A MAN has appeared in court charged with attempted bestiality after twice trying to have sex with his landlords' Great Dane dog.
Bradley Steven Whitehead, 37, pleaded guilty in Cairns District Court today to two charges of attempted bestiality and two of stealing. The court heard Whitehead was a chronic alcoholic and was staying with a couple in Cooktown who had agreed to help him in exchange for work on their property.
On December 12 last year, the female property owner discovered Whitehead attempting to have sex with the couple’s dog.
She phoned the police, and Whitehead admitted to trying the same thing the night before while drunk.
He also admitted to stealing from the couple and the local hospital.
Whitehead was yesterday sentenced to four months’ jail, suspended immediately with a two-year probation period.
