TOKEN collection for this year's timeOUT Day In The Park has hit fever pitch, with hundreds of people heading to The Cairns Post's Abbott St office yesterday.

Music fans have until Friday at 5pm to redeem 12 tokens taken from The Cairns Post and The Weekend Post to score a $25 ticket to this year’s biggest live music festival on August 13 to catch The Living End, Drapht, Nina Las Vegas, British India and more.

But if you’ve missed that crucial token, don’t worry.

Inside today’s The Cairns Post you will find one final bonus token to make up any numbers in case you are short.

Two fans who do not have to worry about the bonus ticket are 15-year-old Cairns High students Yvana Valdhi and Lauren Hutchinson, who both scored their tickets yesterday.

“We’re keen to get moshing,” Ms Valdhi said.

The Cairns Post will be open all week (including the public holiday on Friday) to redeem your token forms for the cheapest live music deal of the year.
